well, the iPad is here & it’s freaking awesome (less the dropping WiFi issue, which is very annoying). but i’m not here to offer any kind of critique or review. instead, i thought i would share the love.
if you have one and are looking for a way to make your home & lock screens look awesome, i created a few free wallpapers that you can download. they’ve been optimized to fit perfectly whether you have the device turned for landscape or portrait mode.
bali hai | the bow river
view from The Grove Park Inn | foggy morning in The Great Smoky Moutains
sunrise at Enchanted Rock | sunset in E. Texas
if you end up downloading them, tell me what you think. i’m planning on releasing a couple more sets if these end up being something people like. i hope you enjoy them.

Trey, don’t you know that to properly promote this you have to give away a free iPad by asking everyone on Twitter to re-tweet it ad-nauseum? haha. Thanks for the cool wallpapers!
Hey Trey! I don’t own an iPad- only an iPhone, but these look fantastic. I check in on your blog every now and then to see the awesome pictures you post. You get better and better every time! Really great work. Hope all is well!!
Well I ordered an Ipad, won’t get it for a couple of weeks because I got 3G, but I am so pumped, and totally plan to download your pics then… should I wait until I can access this page FROM the Ipad, is or download these to my PC now and then try to access them later? Wow, since I am not a Mac there will be a lot to learn.
Maybe you can be my Ipad tutor?
Kevin, you’re funny. And you’re right… I must not be doing something right because all I ever get RTed on is Dallas Stars related.
LL, you are awesome. Thank you.
Bo, I’m on a Mac, so I’m not sure how the PC will handle certain things. I have to organize all my photos in iPhoto for the iPad… my guess is you can download them now, put them in a place where you can tell iTunes to find them once yours comes in, then sync away. The download is a .zip & Safari on the iPad can’t do anything with the file.
so i guess i have to get one, huh? lovely pics here – where’s the puck?
Hey Trey, what’s up man! Wish I had an ipad just so I could get that awesome pic of the Bow River-I downloaded it to see if it could fit my Macbook screen in high res but no luck. Great pics!
